*Cornelia Agelaki, our great-grand mother She was born in 1908 in Thrapsano and married with Agelakis John in 1930. They had a son, Konstantinos and 4 years later she lost her husband. A woman alone, just before World War II, devoted to her son, worked really hard and managed to created a fortune. The first building she bought is now the winery of the family Agelakis. So, the least we could do is one special and excellent wine with her name and her photograph

Takimi Vidiano Amphora.

The village of Thrapsano constitutes the hart of pottery in Crete. Wandering groups of pottery artisans where named “takimia”, a word meaning team. Our Takimi is 100% Vidiano, Cretan variety, from local grapes, aged 12 months in clay receptacles.

Natural wine with exceptional honeycomb aromas and dried fruits, it has an amber vivid color, a full body and soft tannins. Best consumed at a temperature of 16ο C and it can accompany pleasantly fatty fish and red meat.
